Phoenix,, AZ – Motorcyclist in Critical Condition after Hit-and-Run in Arizona

Phoenix, AZ (December 8, 2018) – A female motorcyclist is in critical conditions after being hit by another motorcyclist Saturday evening December 8th. The incident took place near 28th Street and East McDowell Road when a 61-year old woman who was traveling westbound on East McDowell Road and crashed into another motorcyclist. The woman was immediately transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. She was listed in critical condition and suffered life-threatening injuries. The identity of the woman has not been released.

The 2nd motorcyclist, a 56-year old man, was arrested and charged with a felony DUI. It’s believed by police that impairment was indeed a factor in this collision. There was a witness who stated that they saw a white pick-up truck that “may have been involved in the accident” leave the scene. The pick-up truck has yet to be located and police are treating this crash as a hit-and-run.
