El Cajon Head-on Motorcycle Crash on State Route 94 Injures Rider

EL CAJON, CA (October 11, 2022) – Late in the morning on Sunday in El Cajon, a head-on crash involving a motorcycle and pickup truck injured the rider. The October 9 crash occurred on State Route 94, close to where Oak Lakes Road is located.

The time was roughly 11:32 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

Authorities allege the motorcycle went over the center line and into the lane of opposing traffic.

The motorcycle collided with a pickup truck–described as a Ford F-150–head on, authorities said.

Responders transported the motorcyclist to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The types of injuries he suffered, and current condition, are not known.

His identity has not been reported.

It is also not known from reports if the driver of the pickup truck was hurt, and if anyone else had been traveling in the pickup at the time of the crash.

The driver’s identity is not known from reports.
