Motorcyclist Killed in Late-night Crash in Huntington Park

Huntington Park, CA (October 21, 2018) – Authorities are investigating a crash involving a 28-year-old motorcyclist who died early Sunday morning, October 21st, in Huntington Park. Pending investigations, police are unsure if other vehicles were involved or if the incident was a hit-and-run collision. At around 2 a.m. that Sunday, police and fire officials responded to the scene of a downed motorcyclist near Florence Avenue and Alameda Street.

The motorcycle and another car were towed away by authorities following the response. The deceased’s identity was not released, as details were scarce with police continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. Officials closed lanes of Alameda Street in the 7000 block for several hours during their investigations.
