Three-Vehicle Accident in South Sacramento Leaves Motorcyclist Injured

SACRAMENTO, CA (June 11, 2025) — A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries Wednesday afternoon following a three-vehicle collision in south Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash occurred around 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of 47th Avenue and 44th Street, just west of State Route 180. According to CHP, the incident involved a motorcycle, a gray Toyota Sequoia, and a third unidentified vehicle.

First Responders Found The Motorcycle Rider Laying In The Street

Emergency crews arrived to find the motorcyclist down in the middle of the roadway. Emergency responders treated the rider for minor injuries and classified the collision as a minor injury incident.

Tow services were called for the damaged motorcycle, and westbound lanes on 47th Avenue experienced temporary traffic delays while authorities cleared the scene.

No other injuries were reported. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
