Hemet Motorcyclist Killed in Late-Night Collision
HEMET, CA (June 14, 2025) — Christopher Shick, a 33-year-old man was killed Saturday night in a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck at the intersection of Yale Street and Acacia Avenue, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. on June 14. Authorities said Christopher Shick of Hemet was riding a black motorcycle when he collided with a white Ford F-150 in the middle of the intersection. The exact circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
Christopher Shick Was Pronounced Dead The Scene
Emergency personnel responded quickly to the scene, but Shick was pronounced dead shortly after the impact. According to a report by Action Eye News, Shick was married and the father of two daughters, ages 10 and 11.
His wife told reporters she heard the sirens from their nearby home and rushed to the scene, where she learned of her husband’s death. Furthermore, Shick had reportedly been on his way home from work in Beaumont at the time of the crash.

CHP Officials Continue Their Investigation
The California Highway Patrol’s San Gorgonio Office is leading the investigation. Officers processed the scene and gathered evidence, closing the intersection for approximately two hours.
Authorities have not yet released additional details about the cause of the collision.
