Arnulfo Nungaray, 20, Identified As Motorcyclist Found Dead on Ortega Highway Near Lake Elsinore

Motorcyclist Killed on Ortega Highway in Riverside County Identified

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (September 22, 2024)  – Arnulfo Nungaray, a 20-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Highway 74, near Grand Avenue, on Sunday afternoon. The crash occurred at approximately 4:17 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Arnulfo Nungaray Was Flying On His Suzuki GSX-R750 When He Lost Control On A Curve

The victim, Arnulfo Nungaray of Eastvale, was riding a 2023 Suzuki GSX-R750 eastbound when, for unknown reasons, he was unable to navigate a left-hand curve on the Ortega Highway. So Unfortunately, his motorcycle veered off the roadway and collided with a wood and metal guardrail, throwing him from the bike. The motorcycle came to rest approximately 150 feet from the road.

Arnulfo Nungaray Was Pronounced Dead At The Scene

Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 4:32 p.m. but pronounced Nungaray dead on-site. A coroner later arrived to attend to the body.

The CHP’s Temecula area office is currently investigating the cause of the crash. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact them as they continue their inquiry into the tragic accident.
