Hemet Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Dodge Ram Identified

Hemet, CA (June 18, 2024) – Casey Fryer, 35, was tragically killed in a head-on motorcycle accident south of Hemet on Tuesday evening, June 18. The fatal crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Fairview Avenue, just north of Bautista Canyon Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Casey Fryer was riding a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Fairview Avenue when he drifted over the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic. At the same time, a Dodge Ram pickup was traveling southbound. The driver of the pickup attempted to evade the motorcycle by turning to the right but was unable to avoid the collision.

The Impact Ejected Casey Fryer onto the Roadway, Where He Sustained Fatal Injuries

The motorcycle collides with the pickup, ejecting Casey Fryer onto the roadway. And therefore he suffers significant injury. Riverside County Fire Department paramedics made life-saving efforts, but they pronounced Fryer dead at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge Ram, is a 37-year-old man from Hemet, he is unharmed. So fortunately, no arrests have been made, and an investigation into the crash is ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with additional information to contact the CHP San Gorgonio office at 951-846-5300.
