Motorcyclist Struck by Hit-and-run Driver on 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley

MORENO VALLEY, CA (June 3, 2022) – Early in the morning on Thursday in Moreno Valley, a hit-and-run driver struck a motorcyclist, and the crash was recorded on dashcam video. The June 2 crash occurred on the 60 Freeway eastbound.

The time was roughly 1:00 a.m., according to reports.

Reports say the motorcyclist was traveling on the freeway and a vehicle–which was going at a fast speed–struck the motorcyclist. Dashcam video recorded the rider being ejected and flung into the air before he crashes down onto the roadway.

The hit-and-run driver fled the crash site.

Responders transported the injured rider to the hospital. He was identified as Anthony Flanagan, 25 years old.

A Good Samaritan helped Flanagan before authorities arrived on scene.

Investigators are searching for the hit-and-run driver and the vehicle involved. If anyone has information about the crash, the person can contact the California Highway Patrol.
