Motorcyclists Struck by Lamborghini in Julian Crash on State Route 79

JULIAN, CA (March 21, 2022) – Late in the morning on Saturday near Julian, a number of motorcyclists were struck by a car on State Route 79.

The March 19 crash occurred near Julian Estates Road, close to the Pinezanita RV Park and Campgrounds.

The time was roughly 11:45 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

No details have been reported on how the crash happened. A car–described as a Lamborghini–hit a group of motorcyclists, reports say.

According to authorities, at least two of the riders were injured. The types of injuries they suffered, and their current condition, are not known.

The victims have not been identified.

The identity of the driver has not been reported.

Investigators are working to understand the crash, and why it happened. They are in the process of collecting information.
