Visalia Motorcycle Crash at Highway 198 and Ben Maddox Way Kills Man

VISALIA, CA (November 3, 2022) – Late in the afternoon on Wednesday in Visalia, a crash involving a motorcycle and a car killed a man. The November 2 crash occurred in the area of Highway 198 close to where the exit for Ben Maddox Way is located.

The time was roughly 4:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

Two people–identified only as a man and a woman–were traveling on a motorcycle.

Authorities allege the motorcycle struck the back end of a car, which has not been described.

The force of the crash ejected the two riders from the motorcycle.

Responders transported the woman to Kaweah Health Medical Center for treatment of injuries that were described as major.
