Woman Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Accident on 101 Fwy in Woodland Hills

Woodland Hills, CA (June 4, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of a woman in her 30s on the 101 Freeway Tuesday evening. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the incident occurred on June 4 at approximately 5:00 p.m. Also, the collision was near the De Soto Avenue off-ramp.

The motorcyclist was initially involved in a collision, and investigators suspect that a second vehicle struck her following the initial crash.

The Female Rider Was Pronounced Dead At The Scene

Emergency responders arrived to find the victim unresponsive on the ground and later pronounced her dead at the scene. Therefore, authorities have withheld the identity of the woman, pending notification of her next of kin.

In response to the accident, the California Highway Patrol closed all but one lane of the eastbound 101 Freeway near Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

The CHP is conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the cause of the fatal accident and will release further information as it becomes available.
