Man Riding Motorcycle Injured in Traffic Accident With Pickup Truck On Sixth Avenue

San Diego, CA (February 19, 2024). A motorcyclist involved in a traffic accident sustained injuries in the Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego.  The incident occurred on Monday morning, February 19th.

Motorcyclist Sustains Multiple Fractures after Crash with Pick-up Truck on Sixth Avenue

The San Diego Police Department reported that the incident occurred on Sixth Avenue when a 31-year-old man was driving a 2018 Ford F-150 pickup truck northbound. Simultaneously, a 44-year-old motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Sixth Avenue.

According to the police, the truck attempted to make a left turn into a parking garage but failed to yield to the oncoming motorcycle. The collision between the two vehicles transpired at 3800 Sixth Avenue just after 6:30 a.m.

Motorcycle Rider Experiences Multiple Fractures and is Transported to Hospital

As a result of the crash, the motorcyclist suffered multiple fractures. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the injured individual to a local hospital. The current condition of the motorcyclist remains unknown.
