Traffic Accident at Third and Harrison Streets Injures CHP Motorcycle Officer

San Francisco, CA (September 7, 2023).  In a Sunday afternoon incident, a California Highway Patrol (CHP) motorcycle officer and a Cadillac Sedan driver found themselves hospitalized following a traffic accident. The collision occurred at the intersection of Third Street and Harrison Street in San Francisco. The collision occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. on September 3.

San Francisco Police Department Was Quick To Respond To The Scene

The San Francisco Police Department quickly responded to the scene.  They discovered that a Cadillac sedan had collided with the motorcycle officer under unknown circumstances. The force of impact ejected the officer from his motorcycle.

Paramedics dispatched to the location immediately provided medical attention to the injured officer. He was transported to San Francisco Zuckerberg General Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

Cadillac Sedan Remained At The Scene of the Accident

The driver of the Cadillac sedan remained at the accident site and cooperated fully with law enforcement officers. Following an assessment by medical personnel, they also transported the driver to a local hospital, although the nature and extent of their injuries have not been disclosed.

Thankfully, both the CHP motorcycle officer and the Cadillac sedan driver are expected to fully recover from their respective injuries.
