Bicyclist Struck and Killed in Tujunga Canyon Area of Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 2, 2022) – Early in the afternoon on Saturday in the Tujunga Canyon area of Los Angeles, a bicyclist was struck and killed. The April 30 crash occurred on Sand Canyon Road in the 21500 block.

The time was roughly 12:45 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department’s Supervisor Peters.

No details have been reported on how the crash happened, nor the line of travel of the vehicle prior to hitting the bicyclist.

The vehicle involved in the crash has not been described.

According to Officer Brandt, who is with the California Highway Patrol, the bicyclist suffered fatal injuries.

The identity of the victim, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.

The identity of the driver is also not known.
