Teen Killed in Crash Involving Pocket Bike and Harley Davidson Motorcycle

LANCASTER, CA (March 11, 2025) – Kae’mon Hill, a 17-year-old boy died Tuesday night after his pocket bike collided with a Harley Davidson motorcycle at the intersection of 20th Street East and Avenue L-8 in the Palmdale/Lancaster area.

The crash occurred around 9 p.m. on March 11, according to KTLA 5 News. Investigators believe Hill was traveling northeast while crossing the northbound 20th Street East when a man riding a Harley Davidson struck him. Also, at the time, the larger motorcycle was heading north on 20th Street approaching Avenue L-8 at the time of the collision.

Kae’mon Hill’s Pocket Bike Had No Head or Tail Lights

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the pocket bike did not have a headlight or taillight, which may have contributed to the crash. The teenage rider, later identified as Kae’mon Hill, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Harley Davidson rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the crash and urge any witnesses to contact the Palmdale Station’s Traffic Unit at 661-272-2400.
