Mission Hills Hit-and-run Crash Kills Motorcyclist

MISSION HILLS, CA (July 18, 2022) – Late at night on Saturday in Mission Hills, a motorcyclist was killed by a hit-and-run driver. The July 16 crash occurred close to where Sepulveda Boulevard and Rinaldi Street intersect.

The time was roughly 11:45 p.m., Los Angeles Police said.

According to police, a vehicle–described as a pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet Sierra, dark in color–had been heading west on Rinaldi.

The pickup truck driver is alleged to have struck the motorcycle, and then fled the crash site.

Responders arrived and pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene of the crash.

He was identified as in his early thirties; his name and city of residence have not been reported.

Investigators are searching for the vehicle involved in the crash, and the hit-and-run driver, who has not been described.
