1 Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Van Nuys

Van Nuys, CA (February 28, 2024) –  According to the Los Angeles police, the incident, involving two vehicles, occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday. Reports indicate that a motorcycle, carrying two individuals, collided with the right passenger side of an SUV.  The SUV was executing a left-hand turn.

Emergency services, including the Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics and police, swiftly responded to the scene in the 7000 block of Woodley Avenue. Upon arrival, responders found debris scattered across the road and two individuals in critical condition. While one of the motorcycle occupants was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, sadly, the other succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Authorities have not confirmed whether the deceased victim was the motorcycle driver or passenger.

Driver of SUV Remained Behind and Cooperated With Authorities

The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with police investigators. The circumstances leading to the tragic accident remain unclear.
