La Habra Hit-and-run Crash Injures Bicyclist on West La Habra Blvd.

LA HABRA, CA (August 8, 2022) – Late in the afternoon on Sunday in La Habra, a bicyclist was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver. The August 7 crash occurred on West La Habra Boulevard in the 500 block.

The time was roughly 4:45 p.m., La Habra Police said.

According to authorities, a vehicle–described as a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with an extended cab and construction rack, white in color–struck the bicyclist.

The driver did not stop to help the victim, but fled the crash site.

Responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department transported the victim to a hospital in the area.

He suffered injuries that were described as critical.

He was identified only as a resident of La Habra, 53 years old. His name has not been reported.

Investigators are searching for the suspect hit-and-run driver, who has not been described, and the pickup truck involved in the crash.
