Los Angeles Hit-and-run Crash on Wall Street Kills Bicyclist

LOS ANGELES, CA (September 30, 2022) – Late at night on Thursday in Los Angeles, a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a bicyclist in the Florence area. The September 29 crash occurred at Wall Street and 61st.

The time was roughly a little after 11:00 p.m., Los Angeles Police said.

A vehicle–described as a work van with a rack on top, white in color–struck a bicyclist who had been heading north on Wall Street.

The van dragged the victim roughly 3 to 4 feet before the driver fled the crash site without stopping to help.

Responders found the victim was killed at the crash site.

The identity of the victim has not been reported.

Investigators are searching for the van involved in the crash, and the suspect hit-and-run driver.
