Clark Middle School Student Identified as Teen Killed in Bicycle Crash On Bullard Avenue

CLOVIS, CA (April 8, 2025) — A 13-year-old boy was killed Tuesday in a tragic bicycle accident at the intersection of Bullard and Armstrong avenues in Clovis, authorities confirmed.

The Fresno County Sheriff-Coroner identified the victim as Agamjodh Singh Cheema, a student at Clark Intermediate School. The fatal collision occurred in the westbound lanes on April 8.

According to investigators, Cheema was riding a black bicycle westbound when he was likely sideswiped by a Toyota Camry traveling in the same direction. The vehicle sustained damage to its passenger side, including a broken mirror, suggesting the point of impact.

Emergency responders arrived on scene and found the teen with severe injuries. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police noted that Cheema was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident. The Clovis Police Department is actively investigating, using crash reconstruction technology and witness statements to piece together the events leading up to the deadly collision.
