Oakdale Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident in Modesto

Modesto, CA (July 30, 2024)   — A fatal motorcycle accident claimed the life of an Oakdale man at the intersection of Yosemite Boulevard and Kerr Avenue on Tuesday.

The crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. Modesto Police officers responded to the scene following reports of a motorcycle collision and discovered a heavily damaged Harley-Davidson Dyna motorcycle. But unfortunately, authorities pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

The Motorcyclist Was Ejected From His Bike Which Led To His Death

Investigations revealed that the eastbound motorcyclist collided with a northbound Acura at the intersection. In addition, the impact ejected the motorcyclist from his bike, resulting in severe injuries that led to his death.

Authorities have not released the victim’s name and have stated that there is no suspicion of alcohol or drugs contributing to the accident. Also, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) urges anyone with additional information to contact them as the investigation continues.
