Cerritos, CA (August 7, 2019)- California Highway Patrol has released the identity of a motorcyclist that was killed in a multiple-vehicle chain reaction that occurred in Cerritos early Wednesday morning, August 7th. CHP officers responded to reports of a multiple-vehicle crash sometime after 12:00 A.M. According to investigators, 21-year old Luis Rivera Hernandez lost control of his Toyota Sienna and collided into a concrete median divider on the eastbound State Route 91 just west of Pioneer Boulevard. Hernandez left the Toyota Sienna unoccupied blocking the carpool lane when it was rear-ended by a Ford Exposition.

ONTARIO, CA (July 30, 2019) – A man has been arrested after authorities accuse the man of driving drunk after he struck and killed a bicyclist, and then fled the scene, in Ontario early Wednesday morning, July 31st. Ontario Police Department has released the suspect’s identity as 31-year old Julio Tapia of Ontario. Tapia was driving westbound on Mission Boulevard around 1:10 A.M. when he struck and killed a man who was riding his bicycle bear the intersection of Mission Boulevard and Baker Avenue.

Gasquet, CA (July 23, 2019) – 2 people were killed following a motorcycle accident in Gasquet, a city in northern California about 22 miles southwest of the Oregon border, Friday afternoon July 19th. According to Crescent City California Highway Patrol, officers responded to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a Ford F-150 towing trailer sometime around 1:20 P.M. on Highway 199 just north of Little Jones Creek Road.

San Diego County (July 24, 2019) – Authorities have released the identity of a San Diego based sailor who died following a motorcycle accident with another vehicle during the Independence Day weekend Sunday July 7th. 30- year old Emmett Antoine Brown Jr., a Culinary Specialist 3rd Class, was traveling southbound on Valley Center Road, located west of Hellhole Canyon, on a 2007 Honda CBR600 RR motorcycle. According to California Highway Patrol, Brown entered the intersection of Mirar De Valle Road and Valley Center Road sometime around 4:10 P.M. when Brown was struck by a Nissan Altima that had turned left into the roadway. Brown was thrown from the motorcycle and was discovered in the roadway by first responders.

Oxnard, CA (July 24, 2019) – Authorities are reporting the death of a Port Hueneme man that occurred in Oxnard, Saturday afternoon July 20th. According to Ventura County Fire Department, reports were received of a collision near the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Gum Tree Street just after 1:20 P.M. The 62-year old man was traveling northbound on Victoria Avenue when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck the guardrail. California Highway Patrol arrived and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
