Motorcyclist Killed, Three Injured in Northridge Collision Near Middle School

NORTHRIDGE, CA (April 10, 2025) — Roger Scott, a 22-year-old motorcyclist was killed and three others were injured in a crash Thursday evening at a busy intersection in Northridge, authorities said.

The fatal collision occurred around 6:29 p.m. in the 9900 block of North Tampa Avenue at Lassen Street, near Alfred B. Nobel Charter Middle School, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Roger Scott Died At The Scene of The Accident

Roger Scott was riding a motorcycle when another vehicle collided with him. Emergency crews arrived and found Scott unresponsive; they pronounced him dead at the scene.

Three additional individuals sustained serious injuries in the crash. Paramedics transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities are working to determine who was at fault. The intersection is known to be a high-traffic area, especially during school hours and the evening commute.

The Los Angeles Police Department is urging any witnesses to come forward with information that may assist in the investigation.
