Motorcyclist Killed in Early Morning Crash in Woodcrest

WOODCREST, CA (June 12, 2025) — A motorcyclist was killed early Thursday morning in a collision with a sedan at the intersection of Krameria Avenue and Gardner Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A red Toyota sedan struck a motorcycle at approximately 6:07 a.m.  The rider was pinned beneath the vehicle, prompting an immediate crash report. Emergency crews arrived quickly, but they could only confirm that the motorcyclist had died at the scene.

The Riverside County Coroner’s Office was notified shortly after 6:30 a.m., and CHP requested blood technicians to assist with the ongoing investigation.

Authorities Described The Accident A Severe And Held Off On The Tow Truck To Investigate

CHP officers described the incident as a severe collision. As a result, the initial request for a tow truck was temporarily canceled to allow investigators to document and process the scene thoroughly. The roadway remained closed for several hours.

The identity of the deceased has not been released, pending notification of family members. It is unclear whether the driver of the sedan was injured or remained at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
