Motorcycle Crash on La Jolla Boulevard Leaves Rider In Hospital

SAN DIEGO, CA (January 3, 2025) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision on La Jolla Boulevard near Fern Glen early Friday morning, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The crash occurred around 7:42 a.m. when a 2020 Triumph motorcycle struck the left rear quarter panel of a 2019 Honda Civic. Police reported that the Civic driver was making a left turn as the motorcyclist attempted to pass on the left side.

Motorcyclist Suffered A Fractured Femur

As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist suffered a fractured femur and was transported to a hospital for treatment. But unfortunately, authorities have not released additional details about the Civic driver.

San Diego Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation.
