Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Big Rig On Slover & Cherry Identified

FONTANA, CA (February 26, 2025)  – Authorities have identified 28-year-old Ignacio Perez as the motorcyclist who lost his life in a fatal crash at the intersection of Slover Avenue and Cherry Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, the accident occurred on February 19 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Perez was riding his Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe motorcycle on his way to work when he collided with a diesel truck under circumstances still under investigation.

Ignacio Perez, 28, Was Taken To Arrowhead Regional Where He Later Died

Emergency responders transported Perez to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

In the wake of the tragedy, Perez’s mother launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist the family with funeral expenses and other unexpected costs.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Further details will be provided as they become available.
