Cyclist Killed in Late-Night Crash on Highway 395 in Victorville

VICTORVILLE, CA (March 11, 2025) – A man riding a bicycle was fatally struck by a vehicle Tuesday night on Highway 395, just north of Luna Road, authorities confirmed.

The collision occurred at approximately 8:56 p.m. on March 11, according to the Victorville Fire Department. A northbound van, traveling along U.S. 395 hit the victim.

Police Arrived To Find The Bicyclist Dead At The Scene

Emergency responders, including paramedics and the Victorville Police Department, arrived at the scene and discovered the severely damaged bicycle next to the cyclist’s covered body, Victor Valley News Group reported. But unfortunately, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the silver 1996 Honda Odyssey involved in the crash remained at the scene. Also, they activated their emergency lights. The vehicle sustained major front-end damage and a shattered windshield.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has taken over the investigation, though further details on the circumstances surrounding the crash have not yet been released.
